Souslike Project


The goal of this project is to create a souslike combat system easy to handle and improve. Also to improve on AI and behavior trees. Once I have a good combat base and several enemies, create a level design that reflects the experience of a soulslike in an egyptian setting.

With the main mechanics prototyped I focused on the level design to make it feel like one of the first levels of a souls game. It encourages you to explore in a slightly linear level, shortcuts lead you to familiar areas and shocking moments while, of course, the combat areas are interesting and feel integrated into the level as small combat arenas.
